Absence Form

 Today's Headlines......

Help us kick off Catholic Schools' Week by attending our annual St. Anthony School Open House on Sunday, January 25th from 11am-2pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to tour the school and classrooms, meet the teachers and see first hand the amazing things our kids are doing. Refreshments will be served.

We will have tuition assistance packets available for each family to pick up. All parents must fill out the Diocesan Tuition Assistance form, whether or not you are on the Ed-Choice Scholarship Program to be eligible for any tuition assistance.

Would you like to make notifying the school of absences easier?  Click here for a ready made form you can use to simply check off the reason for the absence, then sign it and return it to the school office.

Just a reminder that the school doors will not be unlocked in the mornings until 7:30am. That is the earliest that we can allow the children to come in and ensure adequate supervision for them inside the school building. Students who arrive before that time will need to wait outside until we are able to unlock the doors. Thanks is advance for your cooperation.

Would you like to enjoy some great food while helping out a great cause? When you order Market Day through St. Anthony, all proceeds go to help the 8th grade raise money for their annual trip to Washington D.C.  Market Day is well known for their delicious food at a reasonable price. Even avid coupon cutters tell us that the products they purchase from Market Day are well worth the extra few cents! In addition, the promotional incentives they offer, add up to great freebies. To order Market Day, visit http://www.marketday.com/ to see all of the wonderful items they have or fill out the order form your children bring home each month. There are additional copies of the order form in the Church lobby (near the school entrance). Order due dates and pickup dates are listed on the back of the form and on the website.  Don't forget to tell family and friends about Market Day, too.  You don't have to be a school parent or parishioner to order. If you have any questions about Markey Day, please contact Amy Brimmer at 891-5173 or cbrimmer@wideopenwest.com

A reminder... Your newspapers, magazines, shopping catalogs, office and school papers, and discarded mail can be recycled all year long, 24 hours/ 7 days a week. St. Anthony Church and School earn money for all materials retrieved in the green and yellow bins in the North parking lot. DO NOT DEPOSIT CARDBOARD, PHONE BOOKS, MILK CARTONS, PLASTIC BAGS, METAL OR TRASH. These bins are emptied weekly by Abitibi Consolidated. Thank you for all your continued support of this important fundraising and recycling effort. Click here for more information.

Aluminum can recycling: Yes we CAN! We are now in the business of recycling ALUMINUM CANS. You CAN help!. You CAN find the new container for collecting only ALUMINUM CANS right nest to the 2 newspaper containers in the back parking lot of the school. These CANS earn money for St. Anthony School- money to be used towards field trips. The keyword is CAN. So bring in your CANS, along with your newspapers to the parking lot for recycling.

  • For Junior High Parents: There is a great resource available for you in the battle to protect your children against threats on the Internet.  The Westerville Police Department (ICETEAM: Internet Crimes Enforcement Team) has a site that contains a ton of resources, including dates for their upcoming Internet Safety Seminars.  Be sure to check it out!  Click here for a brochure from the Westerville Police with quick tips about keeping your kids safe on the Internet. Also, as mentioned during Curriculum Night, we are working to get copies of the Computer Cop Software the Department developed to help monitor your children's activities on the computer. We now have 10 copies of the Computer Cop software available in the school office for anyone who would like a copy. The software is normally $35 a copy but the Westerville Police Department gave us 20 for free. Contact the school office if you would like a copy. They will be given on a first come, first served basis.
