RETAILERS WANT TO GIVE OUR SCHOOL MONEY!

WHAT IS SCRIP?
Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”. When you purchase scrip, you are purchasing negotiable
gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use scrip to purchase everyday
items like food, clothing, and other essentials, and with every purchase, you earn revenue for
St. Anthony School.
SCRIP IS “SHOPPING CART FUNDRAISING”
Scrip is a popular fundraiser because families do not have to sell anything. Families produce revenue by
making regular household purchases they would make anyway. Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, even
gasoline can be purchased with scrip.
HOW SCRIP GENERATES REVENUE FOR YOU
St. Anthony School buys scrip at a discount and re-sells the certificates to families for full face value.
The discount – from two to fifteen percent or more – is revenue for the school.  As an incentive for all
families to participate in the scrip fundraising program, all discounts will be split with families – ½ of the
revenue will go to the school and ½ of the revenue will be credited back to the family as a tuition credit.
The tuition credits will be applied to the family’s account two times during the school year and will be
coordinated with the FACTS program.
SCRIP IS AVAILABLE MANY WAYS FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE
The entire scrip inventory is available by weekly order (Scrip Order – long form).  All orders are due by
Tuesday morning at 8:15 and will be sent home with the student the following Tuesday afternoon unless
other arrangements have been made.  Also, a select offering of scrip (Scrip NOW – short form) will be
available instantly through the school from Monday through Thursday – this will cut down on the hassles of
ordering, and will help with last minute plans.  Each order form has complete details for placing an order.
ShopWithScrip
Most of our scrip items are supplied by the Great Lakes Scrip Center and they offer a program called
ShopWithScrip.
To enroll, go to www.shopwithscrip.com and use the St. Anthony Enrollment Code:  L471FLD43L7L.
After enrolling, any family from St. Anthony School or Parish can order scrip directly from the Great Lakes
Scrip Center inventory. You can pay for your order by sending a check to school, or you can pay directly
with Presto Pay. All orders are due each Tuesday by 8:15 a.m. The gift cards will still be sent home
with your student the following Tuesday just like the traditional Scrip Order (long form). The order will
be sent home with the oldest student unless otherwise specified. There is not a direct ship option.
ShopWithScrip offers a wide variety of vendors. You can find some vendors at ShopWithScrip that are
not available through Scrip Order (long form). Be sure you are purchasing a gift card you can use. Once
your order has been submitted, it cannot be returned.
ShopWithScrip also offers the ability to reload a limited selection of gift cards that were originally purchased
from the St. Anthony Scrip Program.
Go to www.shopwithscrip.com and use the St. Anthony Enrollment Code:  L471FLD43L7L.
After you are enrolled, you can see which cards can be reloaded and you can reload any cards that you
already have, or any cards that you purchase in the future.
KROGER COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAM
Kroger has a program that is a little bit different than the other paper scrip programs offered by other
vendors. Register your Kroger Plus card and every time you shop, you will earn money for the school
REGULAR UPDATES
Families will receive regular updates on all scrip details. Vendors join and leave the program throughout
the year and also change the donation to the school or the denomination available. Some vendors offer
bonus discounts, especially around holidays.
PAY FOR TUITION 1 CUP OF COFFEE AT A TIME
For example, if you spent the following in one month, and used Scrip to pay for it, you could earn about
$16 each month for your tuition credit. You might spend more or less in some areas, but you can see
how everyday purchases can be turned into lower tuition.

$25 / week @ Speedway
